I am locking this thread as this one is getting out of hand too. Pantherchameleon, supposedly you came here looking for advice and suggestions. You were given LOTS of advice but evidently it wasn't what you were looking for because you didn't follow any of it which is extremely unfair to your dragons. You gave them a home, they didn't have a choice and now you aren't doing what you can to help them. Beardies are like babies and they are totally dependent on us for their care but unlike human babies, they can't even cry out when they need something. You must care for them at least a little bit or you wouldn't have signed onto this forum unless you came here just to get everyone that loves beardies all riled up.
I recently lost some beardies (all of them were over 7 yrs old except for our 2 1/2 yr old female that must have had a problem with egg production and something went terribly wrong, I guess her body was absorbing them instead of laying them) and it totally devastated me, I am heartbroken and miss them terribly BUT at least I know that I did ALL I could to help them, their deaths were not from something that I neglected to do. The oldest one lived to be almost 10 yrs old and we had him since he was 4 wks old. If you have a conscience and do care about them just a little bit, I highly recommend that you either surrender them to someone that can give them the care they need and/or have the one that is suffering so badly put down so that she doesn't have to go through anymore misery. The vet you saw today did make some suggestions about using Betadine and Neosporin to help with the skin condition so hopefully you will give that a try. Neither of those products are expensive and what have you got to lose for trying it? They also need food and the chicken and squash baby food will help give them some nourishment to fight with so that hopefully they can improve.
If you're not going to follow any of the suggestions given, please don't make any further posts about your sick and deprived beardies. It isn't fair to all of us that love these reptiles SO much. I could say a lot more, but I don't dare.
