Hello, my bearded dragon just laid an egg, but she didn’t actually lay yet. Is that normal?

Also is it ok some of the eggs are deflated and wimpy looking

Yes of course their belly area goes from very full to hollow looking + you can see the ribs, all normal. Infertile eggs can look normal or deflated.

Ok, thank you! They didn’t look deflated last time so I didn’t know if that was possible!

One small part of the sand is yellower and a different wetter texture. That’s not something that came out of her is it?

You can figure that it may have, they sometimes bust an egg or more while covering them so you can clean that out real.

I know a lot were deflated. I didn’t see a busted one though. But, one of the deflated ones could have easily been busted and I didn’t notice. They were really wimpy.

Also, she seems to be wiggling like something needs to come out. But, nothing is coming out. I think it is an egg. Because I just saw it peep out. But, it didn’t come out yet.
