Hi there,

Congratz on your first beardie! I too have a girl named kiki!

Sorry you are worried about her health.

It would be best if you could post a picture of the eye. Can you?

That looks very strange, almost looks like its a bug.

I'm really stumped as to what it could be. Hopefully someone with a better understand can chime in.

Pardon for asking the possibly obvious, but have you tried touching it to see if it was some sort of bug or something? To see if it would move?

It almost looks like one of those small moths, but then again, im not the best guy to ask about bumps. Tracie (drache613) would be the best person to ask. She has loads of experience with this kinda stuff

It looks to me a LOT like dried Repashy mix or a similar paste food. Give it a good soak with some cotton wool or tissue and then gently wipe it with a moistened cotton bud or the corner of a thickly folded damp tissue - it should start to come off nicely. :)

If that's what it is anyway.

True. But it would help decide if it is food or not :)
It could also be a cricket bite, but it looks an awful lot like dried food or bugpoop. I'm forever having to clean my gecko, Terry, after he's been a bit enthusiastic with the Repashy.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
