Beardie going crazy?

I moved the green hide over to the dig bin because it is lower. Am a lil concerned that it is open on one side as opposed to closed so not a dark place for her to go dig , so may go find a shorter hide to put on that side that is closed . I really feel like she just wants out though. She is a lil less restless today, maybe she enjoyed her brimstone and just has energy to get out?

She might use it but it would be better to have a lid that won't crash in on her. The stump hide will fall in on her if she digs in there. That would probably interrupt her digging .

Hello,

I agree, you should keep some type of lid on top. You
can tent it or angle it so there is some space on top of
the substrate/dirt mixture.
How is she doing?

What I did was put a brick on each side and rest the hide on top and then put sand in and around it so that’s as far as it will go down and won’t go down on her. She’s still raring to get out of the vivarium and when out trying to get out of the room, ha. I do see her also trying to get up to a window I normally set up a climb for her to get to in the warmer months to bask in the sun and see outside.

No eggs that I know of, but she’s in good spirits other than her failed “escape artist” side gig.

bricks in there will take up way too much room, you're still better off with a lid.

She does this most of the day. She knows something is out there.
