You will need a basking light that provides heat: either a normal household bulb or a specialist reptile bulb- i use a 100w bulb in my 4ft viv and it gives good temps
UVB is essential- you will need a UVB tube (not a coil or compact)- reptisun 10 tube is best- these should be replaced every 6 months
Ceramic heat emitter- gives out heat, no light- good to up temp or for use at night if cage drops below 65F
I have a UVB tube that my beardie can get within 6 inches on- it fits 3/4 the length of the viv. I have a basking light positioned on the right to provide heat and a ceramic heat emitter (middle) linked to a thermostat for night time, which i rarely need to use.
