That's a big NO to the sand substrate question. Her log (from Petmountain) was not tall enough to get proper temps for basking so I put her hide which is a stoney looking cave underneath one part of the log to raise the log. I can see if the pic where one might think it is sand. However, my actual substrate for now if papertowl. Easier to deal with for a baby. When my husband and son build be a crossfire viv, it will most likely have tile.
Petunia is only about 4 inches nose to tail tip. She's adjusting more this morning. Still stress marked but I am relaxing about that. I gave her a
bath and she really like that. She ate 3 crickets last night and that is all she wanted. She won't eat any crickets this morning though. That's makes me worried. However, I have her greens and her reptile pellets in her tank for her so I hope she eats something.
