Stress marks are the dark ovals on a beardie's tummy. Some show it alot, others don't seem to care about anything. You want a nice cream color belly. :wink:

Awww...she's adorable! I knew there was no way u would leave the pet store empty handed! To hard to resist them!!! BTW, Petunia is an adorable name..it is on my list of girl names!

So cute I can barely even form words beyond 'awwwww!' That's a great hunk of wood you have for her, too! At a glance, it looks as though she's on sand? Are you using sand as her substrate?

Thanks for a the "awwww" everyone. I think she is adorable too.

That's a big NO to the sand substrate question. Her log (from Petmountain) was not tall enough to get proper temps for basking so I put her hide which is a stoney looking cave underneath one part of the log to raise the log. I can see if the pic where one might think it is sand. However, my actual substrate for now if papertowl. Easier to deal with for a baby. When my husband and son build be a crossfire viv, it will most likely have tile.

Petunia is only about 4 inches nose to tail tip. She's adjusting more this morning. Still stress marked but I am relaxing about that. I gave her a bath and she really like that. She ate 3 crickets last night and that is all she wanted. She won't eat any crickets this morning though. That's makes me worried. However, I have her greens and her reptile pellets in her tank for her so I hope she eats something.

Fantastic Some people genuinely don't know sand is bad (I certainly didn't.) I see she's going to be a spoiled one, a handmade crossfire viv and all! I'm trying to imagine holding a 4inch baby, but wow, it must be an experience! I thought my 7.5 inch guy was fragile feeling!
