Coil UVBs are suitable for some reptiles but not for bearded dragons, I'm afraid 🙈 a long tube or a mvb would be a good choice.

Is the ceramic heat emitter for nighttime? Usually you don't need one if it doesn't go below 65°F at night. During the day you want your heat to come from the lights, as they are dessert(-isch) animals and also need high illuminance.

Okey, but you could try returning the coil, as it isn't gonna be of any use for you anyway

Here is a small update on his tank;
As stated in the last post please ditch the coil UVB --- I can post links for 3 good UVB's if you like --- please get 2 digital probe thermometers like Zoo Med and a digital probe hydrometer -- that can be placed on the back center wall of the tank -- Exo Terra makes them - we can also post links for 120 gallon tanks if you would like those as well -- but please get the UVB first and your digital probe thermometers -- that is crucial

Ok your going to need to replace the coil UVB it is a hazard to your dragon - they are totally inadequate and will cause all kinds of health issues -- you need a long tube fixture like one of the ones I am going to post for you- you can try your pet stores see if they have any of these in stock but you need to get this right away please--these are all 24" fixtures
Zoo Med comes w/ a 5.0 bulb you need a Reptisun 10.0 T 5
or this one you will need to change the bulb out to the one posted above and you want the 2ft or 24"
you also want two digital probe thermometers please Zoo Med makes them you can find them at PetSmart / Petco -- the stick ons give ambient only - you need to get surface basking temps w/ the digital

a poem by AHBD (THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE IT!)

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?
