Hammock placement?

Where does everyone have them at? On the basking side or the cooler side under the UV?

Got mine in the corner under a lamp, on the warm side of the tank. He loves it there. He will sit up there and when he gets hungry he jumps down and eats then gets right back up and sun bathes some more.

Yes those are crushed walnuts, wich are no longer in there...

OK, so I moved one of my babies out of her 40G breeder tank to a 4ft. viv and now my hammock suction cups won't stay stuck to the melamine.
Any suggestions?

Use real hooks where you can just screw them on your melamine. That is the safest I think.
