Gravid digging so much no nails

Hi all my female has been digging so much she's worn her nails right down to nothing is there anything I can do too help her ?

Does she have a large laybox ? Some dragons dig for hours , day after day and the only thing you can do is provide a medium sized plastic tote filled with about 10-12" of sand/topsoil/eco earth and put them in for a few hours every day until they lay.

Yes got a large tub she keeps digging even in her tank been like this for a week or so now might be time for a vet visit if she's still not layed in a few days

I've seen my girls wear down their nails as well, not much you can do. And if she's still active she should be fine....unless she's losing weight and/or becomes lethargic and possibly blackbearding she should be fine. If you are really nervous you can get an X-ray to determine where the eggs are sitting.

She's just stared too lay 11 so far she only layed 26 days ago (19) then can't find the link too post pics

O.K, good....things are moving along then. They can lay every 3 weeks so it's the right time.

Aw, she's hard at work. Is that her actual tank that you put sand in ?

No that's the laying tank lol now it's the incubator for now

she's back in her tank above the boy now

For a laying bin to be comfortable , you need to pile the sand up much higher than that. They want to dig a deep cave and she can't do it in that bit of sand. Put much more sand in there so she can dig a cave where she feels like she's hidden. The sand/soil should be about 10" deep, then pile on one side even higher so she can dig a deep tunnel. Your tank worked but she was digging a really long time looking for a way to hide her eggs in a cave . But thankfully she laid them with no problem and she looks healthy. Be sure to give her a warm bath so she can have a drink.

Cheers for the advice I did try the bin with loads in but I have been out all day so she went into the temp lay tank Incase by the time I got home she was laying it was too late but all is well she's had 18 this time all plump and healthy she's had a long bath big drink and 2 adult locusts cover in just and 3 super worms no green yet she's always been fussy with the greens

Really hope she's done lol she's sleeping now it's lights out time the tank/incubator is holding at 29.2 with a ceramic no light bulb and humidity is at 88% not bad for a last minute thing lol my other eggs are in a eggbater think I need to go buy a big one tomorrow to hold all 37 eggs

So just bathed the mom dragon and she dropped the first poo in weeks it was as big as she was and stunk so bad I was nearly sick ? So glad she's been tho was starting too worry a little ? The first clutch is doing so well big and plump doing great the new clutch are not so good they are sunk in have been for 3 days added more water just so hopefully they are ok . The temp is 29 all the time and the humidity is around 88-95

First egg hatched to day (day 50) it was the smallest egg everything is ok forgot how fast baby's are lol
