It's not cause you're 12. You just seem more concerned for the babies than the actually beardie that you already have.
And it's hard to believe that a 12 year old can fund breeding and housing baby and adult dragons properly. It's an expensive thing.

:angry5: :angry5: :angry5: They are not rescues. Is this cause i'm only 12 and yes I spend hours a day taking care of my dragons. :angry5: :angry5:

no, it is because you show no sign of knowing what you're doing. you purchased your first beardie a year ago, (as it says on your website) and you thought he was so interesting that you decided to start breeding them. breeding is a HUGE step, that can be deadly to your dragon(s) and devastating to your, or your parents pocketbooks. if you're female isn't prego, call it luck, or fate, and just enjoy the dragon. leave the breeding to people who know what they're doing, and who has experience with dragons. i understand the excitement you're expecting to get from breeding. life is very enjoyable, especially if you helped (in this case indirectly) create the life and care for it. there will be a time when you can breed beautiful dragons, with the proper set up, and experience.

i don't know if this is possible, but try to find a local breeder that needs his floors swept, or cages cleaned. maybe he/she can help you along in return for your labor. good luck.

First of all, my friend is 40 years old with 8 years breeding experience. He is guiding me on what to do. He owned a company, but he asked me to join him, and change the company name. The female i was talking has been back an forth between his house and mine. He bred it a lemonfire x a chris allen red. He said she was pregnant and was ready to lay her eggs then he told me the eggs just dissapear. He was fustrated, so I offered to look it up. Get the fact strait first next time. Also I have and know a lot more about care than you think I do. I spent weeks studying bd carebooks, site care sheets, patterns.

Yet on your website you clearly state that 'we bought our first dragon' in 2007!! That message is signed by 2 people who I would assume to be yourself and your friend who has 8 years experience???? Perhaps you need to reword that statement on the website.

Yet your care sheet is nothing like I have ever seen before - do you have a deal with pet shops to make people spend extra money - changing the tanks every couple of months does not make sense.

You say the female looked pregnant.... but did she 'feel' pregnant?? I know when I had my female looked at by a specialist, he thought she looked like she had infertile eggs but when he felt around he said there was nothing there! So could your friend not tell this way?? Or did he not check? perhaps she was never actually pregnant in the first place if you 'diagnosed' this based on looks.

Should I change wording if my friend has 8 years experience. I got my first in January of 07, He has been breeding since 2000 or 2001. Yes, he saw and felt eggs, there were there. In the caresheet as the dragon get bigger get a bigger cage, don't keep a 5 month old in a 10 g cage. If you buy a dragon 5 months it was giving info on what size cage.

I have a 5 month old in a 4x2x2.... If I had of went out and got a 10g when he was 6 weeks then a 20 g when he was say 10 weeks then a further tank now I would have spent an absolute fortune on viv's that would just go to waste!!! Size of viv works in comparison with size of beardie NOT age of beardie. Buy a bigger tank to start with, put in a divider and make it bigger as your beardie grows!!

I have too many issues with your web site to start... but yes, you should change that statement as it is currently false.

Just a tought (I am not going to give my thought on the other stuff) but was the beardie with you all the time, or did your friend have her?
If she was pregnant, could she have laid the eggs and your friend have taken them? ( told you they disappeared and he keeps them all for the money, I am not accusing, it is only an idea)

Also, females can somehow have the eggs rupture inside them, and it can make them very sick. I dont know enough about it to even know anything else, but if she was pregnant, and the eggs are "missing" , then I would guess it could be possible that the eggs ruptured, and she would need a vet visit right away.

ohhh, excuse me. i didn't realize you read caresheets for weeks. you are the expert. i've been watching CSI Miami for years, i can't tell a finger print from a jelly donut stain. you're 40 year old friend with 8 years breedign experience, should be able to figure out why the eggs "disapeared". or, he should have professional contacts that he can go through for information. i find it very hard to believe that a 40 year old would ask a 12 year old to join his company, and change the name for him. i really think this whole thing is someone who has too much time on their hands and wants to stir up some mischief.

Eggs dont just disappear. And I think that the idea of her laying eggs and your "partner" taking them kinda sounds like a likely idea. Maybe he is just using you and your dragon for different bloodlines. I just dont get why an adult would want a 5th grade business partner. If it's such a reputible "company" I'm sure your business partner has the money to take her to the vet to make sure no ruptures occur. If he isn't that worried, he obviously isn't concerned for the already to young mother in the first place.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
