Bearded dragon ear parasite

Good evening,
Today, I saw my bearded dragon suddenly scratch the back of his head with hind legs a few times. So I had a look and saw something moving INSIDE his ear cavity. I looked like a brown worm or something but I am unsure.
Aside from this he seems completely normal and content, but understandably this has me very concerned.
I haven’t seen anything online about this problem so am unsure what to do.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello,

That is very strange. If there is some type of worm
internally affecting him, I agree you should take him
into the vet to be sure it gets cleared up.

Was the "worm" behind the eardrum (the skin you see in the ear), or in front of it, i.e. accessible from the outside?
(Of course, even if it was the latter, I strongly recommend the vet!)
In case you have been to the vet already, is there an update?

Hello,

Let us know how things are going & if you were able to
get him to a vet. I'd like to know the outcome of this!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
