Does anyone use a timer power strip for their tanks? I was thinking about getting one but I don't know a good brand and the reviews on amazon are not really that helpful
I use the Zilla 24/7 Digital Timer Power Strip. I bought it because the non-digital one I had was driving me crazy with how difficult it was to get the time accurate. I've had no problems with the digital one — except setting it up, even with the directions, wasn't all that intuitive, so I had to google some advice to get it right. Since I did that, though, it's worked perfectly.
I use one of the outlet timers from the hardware store for the UVB and basking bulb. I'm able to configure it accurately within about 10 minutes or so which is good enough - it's consistent which is the more important factor in my opinion. http://www.lowes.com/pd_224879-66906-UTTNI2423_0__
Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?
Hi there a little update we went from a 50 watt heat lamp to a 100 watt basking halogen heat lamp hahaha I saw some comments about it being so close so I made sure to put it a ruler away from her
