40 gallon breeder vs 55 gallon

I have a chance to get either one of these dirt cheap. I was wonder which would be better. I know the 55 gallon is longer and that the 40 gallon is wider is one better than the other? (I can get the 55 gallon cheaper)

Would a full grown beardie have trouble turning around in a 55 gallon, since it's narrower? I was told that 18" is the minimum width for a full grown bearded dragon and I'm fairly certain a 55 gallon is only 13" wide.

I've heard the 18" minimum, too. Go for the 40 gallon breeder. Your beardie will actually get slightly more floor space than a 55 gallon.
