    it's a flourescent bulb, big long one, can't remember the brand atm, it's the one that everyone on here recommends, 10%. Today i looked closer, and one of his legs seems fine, where as the right one is still the same, it seems weak when he tries to stand on it. i tried moving his uvb bulb lower...

    yeah, he has a uv bulb. is food is dusted, 5 days a week i dust in calcium powder, 2 days a week i dust in multi-vitamin powder.

    Today i noticed my beardie was walking on his ankles/wrists and resting on them also, pretty sure i've never seen him do it before, is this normal? I also notice when bathing he curls his toes towards the sky? Thanks in advance guys :D

    Do locusts have larvae? or do they lay eggs and the eggs hatch? In my tub of locusts for my beardie (they've all grown too big for him! :/) i can see atleast 2 small worm type things that are kinda gray stripey crawling around? I was wondering what they are as i have no idea :L I found one...

    You pick up adult locust? :O they look terrifying :L Some i have grow too big for Buddha to eat, and they look horrid :S on a side not, is the plural of Locust, Locust (i think it is?) or Locusts? O.o

    i use a separate box that used to have locusts in, i took out the egg carton and put calcium powder in it, so i pick the locusts out of the box, put them in the other one, shake it about, then they're good to go :D I have another tub with vitamin powder in aswell :D

    Personally i think Reps are more fun than dogs :P dogs are no way near as hands down cool as beardies are :D

    hasn't had any problems YET. some people smoke their whole life and don't get cancer, others die of it. Sand has a RISK of impaction, and causing problems with your dragon, not a definite. If you are willing to risk the health/life of your dragon so that you can have sand in your Viv, so be it...

    what next?

    i think chams need vertical tanks :/ and they grow pretty big :P i did look at anoles but never looked at any care sheets. Small boas? sound cool, ima google! what size of a tank can you keep a blue tongued skink in? because they look amazing! :P

    How long can they be kept out of the viv?

    yeah, i just went to the shop and i was like "he's NEVER coming out in this!" ^^ my room is pretty warm, with the central heating and his tank, i think it's about the same as the cool side of his tank, maybe warmer, i'll have to check sometime :P
