My bearded dragon used to love the vegetables. Now, all of the sudden, she doesn't want them. She's still eating crickets really well. However, all of the sudden, she ignores the veggies. Has anyone experienced this?

11 months old. I've been giving several different things (mustard greens and turnip greens, etc.). I did up the # of crickets I was feeding, so I was thinking maybe I filled her up so much on the crickets that she didn't want the veggies anymore?
She did eat some tonight.

Try mixing up the veggies you offer, and offer first thing in the morning before any prey insects.
Beautifuldragons.com has a great feeding list to choose healthy foods for your dragon.
Hope this helps out !

I am going to try getting some more stuff.
I forgot to mention that she isn't really big - she is just about almost 14 inches. She has grown since I got her (in January). She does have a little chub on her, though, so maybe she is just genetically a bit smaller than some others, I'm not sure.

How often does she shed ? If she is still shedding every month or so, she is still growing ! Maybe slower than when a juvie/infant.

She sheds in sections. She just shed her tail for the second time, but she's shed everywhere at least once since I have had her.

Just keep changing up and as long as she is pooing daily, don't worry. Dragons do these things to make us worry ! lol

Yeah, she's probably a bit spoiled from the bugs! I wouldn't worry about them for a couple more months. Back off a little bit, and offer veg first. Change stuff up and she will be just fine! Try some fruit (in moderation) and a few other veggies from the list as salad toppers. She will be changing over to mostly veg in the near future, so you will want to find stuff that she likes by then. :)

How do you know when you switch their diet to mostly vegetables?
She was just eating the vegetables so well that I was surprised she kind of went off of them.
Thanks!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
