R.I.P. Rocky 6/20/2011

The pictures are so cute and he does look a lot better already I just hope him flipping over isn't a bad sign, let us know what the vet says. Has he been ok/flipped over again since?

he hasnt flipped over at all tonight the vet said to just watch him

Oh poor Rocky! I hope he is not flipping himself over still, especially if no one is home to catch it.
I have read that this is usually a sign of a calcium defiency when they flip themselves over, which is not surprising in Rocky's case.
How is our little sweetie doing today?
Has he gained any more weight?

I hope he's doing better today. I actually had a dream last night about him. He looked like himself now, but he was running around and pretty active. I hope that's what happens :lol:

I'm sure Dawn realized they were doing that, but he probably never had any vitamins before you took him in. How was he today? Still improving?

Hello Morgan,

When the bridge above their eyes are sunken in & flat it just means that they are extremely dehydrated mostly, but obviously malnourised. They hold fluids in those areas as well as the pads on top of their heads also.
How is he doing today? He probably should start to get liquid calcium now. How long have you had him now & how do his stools look?

sorry iv been so busy with finals but hes taking solids now! i have to hand feed him but hes still eatting. today he ate 3 small roaches and some colleard greens

Oh, how exciting that Rocky is eating better.
Don't worry about pics right now Morgan. Your finals are extremely important right now and we all understand.
As long as we know our little guy is doing okay, then all is good. :wink:
