Power outage after snow-help!

It snowed and our power is out. I am in the south so it rarely snows, my beardie is about four months and his heat lamps are off. What do I do?

What is the temperature in the tank/house right now?

Do you know how long the power is expected to be off?

If it's only going to be for a few hours, it's no big deal. But if he has a rock in his tank or something that has been absorbing heat when the lamp was on, it's best to just let him be there for the time being.

If you're worried it's going to go on for more than a few hours, run to the store and grab some of those "shake and use" hand warmers... wrap in a dry cloth and let your beardie snuggle up next to them. I keep some in my supplies just in case this sort of thing happens.

Sorry I didn’t answer earlier - power is back on and my dragon is warming up again. Thank you, I will get some of those warmers for future use.
