Ok you dont want a heater - you want to increase your basking spot temp - so what are you using for a wattage of that bulb ? also if you can move decor around to get a higher temp that is a option too

I prefer a flood light to a spot light. A flood can provide a range of temps in addition to raising/lowering decor/wattage. I have a flat basking platform, but it's large, and Z can choose from low 90s to 110 or so. Right after he's eaten, he prefers low 100s; otherwise, he seems to prefer low-mid 90s. Different dragons may prefer different temps & ranges, so like everything else... variety. :wink:
