Overweight?

I've seen a few dragon pictures (mostly not on this site) that seemed to me as if the BD was significantly over weight. But, it could easily be that I'm just not a good judge of it. How can you tell what is the right weight for a BD?

Hi,

There really isn't a 'right weight' for beardies if you're just looking at them. A spoiled, chubby beardie isn't uncommon.

I wouldn't be worried about a dragon being 'overweight'. I'd worry about underweight. Unless it's belly is so big it's legs can't touch the ground, I think it's fine!

During our last check up the vet informed me that Stewie was slightly "obese". Since that time I feed her more veggies and fewer supers and she seems to be slimming up some. Of course she is still very chubby and spoiled!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
