I have noticed a couple times that my baby bearded dragon sits at the top of his log in the basking spot and just has his mouth open. Is this normal, should i be worried, what does it mean?

Thanks

Our dragon hasn't been very active. we've had him for about 5 days so far and bought a starter kit that included 2x5.5" light dishes with a 60 watt day light bulb and a black light night bulb. We were getting 85 maybe 90 in his basking area and about 80 in the cool side and that was with both lights on. Today I picked up a 8" dish and a 100 watt bulb and now his basking area is about 100/105 and cool side is about 85 and thats with just this light on. Now he's active moving around and sitting with his mouth open. This site has been great anytime I have a question I find it on here and the answer. We were worried tonight because I see him with his mouth open now but now I know its good. Thanks everyone for your good advise and having all the answers.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
