I was just coming home from school and I saw that the dragon's tip of the tail fell off, is it possible for the dragon to grow it back ? Is it permanent or just a short time? Btw she is about 1 month and 2 weeks old.

It won't grow back, but beardies have really long tails anyway so a little bit missing shouldn't be noticeable.
What I want to know is what caused it to fall off?

Photos please..... could it be that she is shedding on the tail and a length of tail scales came off and the tail is still intact.

I don't really know... I usually have the lighting light on and the heater light off.

You might want to apply some manuka honey on the tail tip to help prevent the wound from becoming infected. If you see shriveled or damaged tissue appear to travel further up the tail I would schedule an exam with an experienced reptile vet because it could mean the tail is infected. Otherwise the end should just heal over and be no problem going forward.

Keep a very, very close eye on that tail. As stated, spy raw, unpasteurized honey (NOT REGULAR HONEY IT WILL DO NOTHING) or Neosporin/Triple antibiotic cream daily to it. Tails get infected very easily and the infection can travel up the tail and eventually cause a serious systemic infection. If you see that spreading up his tail towards his body at all you need to get him to a Certified Herp Vet immediately. It will not grow back, so the more it spreads, the more he'll lose.

Is there any other medicines that might be needed? Btw does apple cider vinegar work or aloe or melagel?

You've been given good advice , follow it , else you risk loosing your dragon.

If you or your parents can't afford / wont take the beardie to a vet is this looks like it's spreading you should surrender the beardie to a beardie rescuer (they will provide proper vet care if needed).

They would likely be prescription strength versions of what is at the store but it's best to first determine if the issue (if there is one at all) is fungal or bacterial and if so which meds will be appropriate so that's best left to a vet who has a lab and experience at their disposal.

Nooooooo! Please don't try to play veterinarian! If your beardie has an infection in his tail that is spreading upward towards his body, he will likely need an antibiotic injection from a reptile vet, plus oral antibiotics, plus he may need his tail amputated above the infection to keep it from spreading into his blood stream. There is nothing over the counter or natural that will help this infection. It's called "Sepsis" once it spreads to his bloodstream, and that is a definite dead beardie. So be a responsible pet owner and get him to a vet, or surrender him to a rescue because they will get him to a Certified Herp Vet immediately. It's just what you have to do. Would you rather he belong to someone else that can take proper care of him, or would you rather be selfish, not take him for help, and he die? Because if that infection isn't better yet or has spread at all, he's in serious trouble and needs prescription medications that only a vet can prescribe and administer. As I stated, a friend of mine had EXACTLY the same issue, after a week of putting Neosporin on it three times a day and doing warm water soaks in Betadine the tail was worse and it had moved up the tail, he took him to an exotics vet and he got an antibiotic injection, oral antibiotics for a month, and it still took 2 more months for it to clear up. So obviously "Apple Cider vinegar" isn't going to do a damn thing (just stop, you're way beyond apple cider vinegar or aloe).

It's your call and you're going to do whatever it is you want to do, but I'd much rather give my beardie away to a reptile rescue who would save his life than to ignore what everyone else is telling you because I couldn't afford$100-$200 for a simple vet appointment and medications and just let him suffer and die out of spite. That's the other thing, once that infection starts to spread your beardie will be in a lot of pain if you don't get him to a reptile vet. You need to think about that long and hard.

So your saying that just take him to a reptile vet not a normal vet? I also heard that vets charges $100-200 to help save the dragon is that true ? When looking at the pic, the black markings, are those infections because my dragon doesn't have those dark markings.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
