Megaray Watt?

Hi Kevin......if you are using a digital thermometer with probe and leaving on the basking spot for 45 minutes for a good reading...then I assume his temps are fine.
The only reason I asked about the size of your enclosure is that my beardies viv is bigger than yours and I also use the 160W Megaray. Right now in the middle of the summer I need no extra heat source in Rex's viv. Are you also needing the heat of the 150W bulb along with the Megaray....or just the Megaray?
Where are you located? Do you have cooler home temps by chance?

I'm not trying to be critical....just a concerned beardie owner, that's all :wink:

I was using both a 160W mega ray + 150 regular basking bulb to reach temps of 100F from 18" away.
