Is this heat light okay for my enclosure???

I went to home depot and bought this bulb because I was looking for 125 watt and the pet stores only carry basking bulbs at 100w or 150w. Is this bulb going to be okay?

It should be fine...just make sure to keep a close eye on your temps. Are you using a digital probe thermometer to monitor your temps?

Yes I have a temp gun that I use with a laser. I actually decided not to use the bulb because it is HUGE! and made it way too hot and it hurt my eyes and made me dizzy to even look at it because the bulb is clear and not frosted so I figured if it made me feel that way it probably wouldn't be good for my beardie. I tested it in his viv while I had him out running around to see about the temps so he didn't even get a chance to get blinded by it like me.
