So is it safe for them to be out of thier lights for long periods of time as long as they have a warm blanket???? :?

We'd need a bit more information - why would he be without his lights? Overnight there should be no lights on, and if your dragon is in full brumation (sleeping 24/7) then you can have the lights off as well. Otherwise, you should do what you can to provide the proper heat and UVB. A regular blanket alone won't help a dragon - reptiles are cold blooded, they need heat from their environment. In case of an emergency or power outtage, you can use handwarmers or a hot water bottle to provide that heat.

mushu,I agree with the other posters, but you can hold them for a while,if they start feeling cold, get a sock(old one) and put rice in it,heat it in the microwave and snuggle. Just be sure to put something like a wash cloth between the rice sock and your beardie so the beardies belly won't get burned. If it is around 70* outside (or warmer) and sunny you can take your beardie outside for some natural sunllight.

I was a bit confused there myself. ;) Long periods of time to me means days, weeks, etc. ;)

If it's just for some running around or snuggling time, then that is ok (and not considered long periods of time)

i meant that ive seen pictures n things that ppl let thier breadies sleep around the house in lil dark corners n stuff with just a blanket well i thought that wasnt a good idea i though for a bit u can cuddle with them n take them out on good hot sunny days was good but not this stuff where ppl let them chill out of range of thier lights n all for hours. thats dangerous right.

Not at all , they need time to warm up before(1 hr) and time after(1 hr) eating their food to digest after that you can take them out. My home stays about 70f to 75f in the winter and 82f to 85f in the summer. I let my guys run loose for 1 to 2 hours each. Not at the same time :p When we just had Chimera he was out of his viv 3 to 4 hours a day if not longer sometimes. But i provided a spot where he can bask and eat veggies on the floor in his roaming area. When he got cold or hungry he would leave the window eat & bask some and go back to his window. In the summer we go outside for hours and bask in the good ole sunlight. Good bonding experances for the beardies i think :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
