Bathing reptile in Florida tap water?

I’m going to be visiting my family for about a month in florida. My first time there and I’ll be taking my dragon. From what they were telling me the tap water is different then what I’m use to, that it almost feels like even when drying off you still feel it on you. I know that you can’t bath them in salt water or anything like that but is it safe to bath in the tap water if it is like that or should I try to find bottled water instead? And if it is safe should I bath her less then what I normally do? Usually she baths every 3 days since it’s only time she wants to go potty.

The only time they should be bathed is if they are dirty. After Zen passed from complications from aspirating while drinking in a bath I don't even recommend bathing for drinking purposes either. Use an eyedropper to give water for hydration. Contrary to popular belief just soaking a beardie in a bath will not hydrate them in any way (unless they actually drink).
The feel your referring to in the water is because they have soft water, it lacks the minerals like calcium, lime, ect that helps remove the soap so it feels like it takes an eternity to get the soap off. It shouldn't be harmful though.

I somewhat disagree but ultimately, generally for a beginner, yes.

Thanks everyone. My bear die has has health problems the last few years and she had lost some muscle mass in her legs because of it. Her specialist we see is the one who recommended I let her swim a few times a week at least until she builds it back up. That’s why she gets in her water often. Her vet is a really good one that figured out her health issues by just looking at her for 30sec where I was at like 4 other vets before hand multiple times and no one could figure anything out. She doesn’t stay in the water too long and I do offer her water from a syringe daily. She rarely drinks out of her water she’s in.
