Hi there....to post pics there is info among the articles on the right side of this page under " other fun stuff". Or you can load your pics to Photobucket, then copy/paste the img/url here. A 9 month dragon could fall in to that size range or be larger on average, but they all grow at different rates and he should grow quite a bit more in the next 6 months or so.

Can you list what his set up is like as well, including pics of the tank and the exact type brand of lights you use ?

Hey there! Thanks for the reply. I don't know the exact brand as I got him quite a while ago. It was a kit though that came from the pet store.

He looks very healthy and well proportioned even though he's a bit on the small side . That doesn't mean he won't grow to a large size, he'll take a bit longer to get to 18-20" which is their average adult size give or take an inch or two. But that may actually be healthier in the long run than dragons that grow to almost full size by 8-9 months.

As for the store bought kits, they usually don't have a good UVB bulb....does it include a coil or compact UVB bulb ? If so, be ready to replace it with a good long tube UVB like Reptisun 10.0. There is a good article on the importance of lighting on the right hand side of this page " newbies guide lighting help and intro to UV lighting"

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
