I call forth Alucard

As you all know, Vash passed away..so sad.
But now I got a new guy, I will send pics
here not on another thread...he's very
stressed being shipped from Florida...I
got one before he wanted to hide.

Alucard is just so cute & sounds like he is doing very well.

If you ordered crickets online, you could choose exactly what size you wanted and is also cheaper.

Does he have any particular greens/veggies that he likes?

He does like mustard greens.
I'm trying various others too.
Carrots he doesn't like, he likes
apples, peaches fruits are once
a week. I'm going to try collards,
zucchini and peas, whatever else
I can think that is good for him. He
honestly won't eat any dragon pellets..
I went out to dinner last night with Tom
and my mom and sister, they love him!
Came home and he hadn't touched them.
So we packed up my stuff for a weekend
sleep over, Alucard is here too. So we're
at Tom's place experimenting what Alucard
will eat besides bugs we all know he eats
those. He had some spaghetti squash, he ate
some, butternut squash he LOVED! I hadn't
tried pumpkin yet, I knew the old man loved it.
I'm still trying.

That's good that he likes mustard greens and now spaghetti & butternut squash. Those are all very good for him. Bet he'll like real thin pieces of pumpkin too.

Great that your mom & sister really liked Tom, that must have made you feel good. Have a good time this weekend.

He had calcium and breakfast, late lunch because
I was on the way home. I brought a game for the
Xbox 360 called The Evil Within, something to do
when it's lights out for the day. I didn't finish Diablo 3
yet, I also play that on the 360 and laptop. My dad is
home from Vegas, and already grumpy, I would be too
driving all that way, with stops in between so he did
sleep. Brought some toys and treats for Thor, my gerbil,
I know some people had a bad experience with them and
they bite them. He doesn't really bite anymore he stopped that long ago, I handle him everyday to keep him tame.
Doesnt pee or poop on my bed or me anymore. Have not
been pooped on by Alucard yet. We settled him back in
my room and he's had relocation stress again but he got over it quickly. Skin in pieces fall off in the bath, gave him
a good scrub with a toothbrush from Vash but it's been
disinfected since then. Gonna get him dinner, so he can
have play time, he loves playtime.

Not much on today.
Fed him 16 crickets, so I will buy
more tomorrow. To keep up
on feeders. I cannot play The
Evil Within my xbox harddrive is
too small, gonna buy an external
one. I have feeders still. I fed him
mustards and those 16 I was talking about.
Lunch was dragon bites and 5 ( 4 crix he
was still full from 16) but I put the one
back, dinner will be the rest of them
(From pet store) I have about 280 pinheads
from my breeder crix. Diamc, I was wondering
if you want to see my eel? If you, do I have a
pic of him.

Not much, three storms on the way here so I got
the hand warmers. Tomorrow one moves in and
it has a high gust alert so possible outage. I'm
not totally happy about that, because the fish
without heater and filter for hours on hours (we're
the last to get our power restored) sometimes we
are out from 8pm - 4am. 2011 storm had us out
from 11am - 10pm. Anyway we're here to read
about Alucard not a stupid storm.

Alucard had 5 crix and I added 12-16 to the ones I
had. He had 6 last night. I put a paper towel down
in the container and that seemed to help and I got
two mediums to see if he could eat them, not even
Vash ate those at 8 weeks. Doesn't hurt to try. He's
eating a low number of crickets (pinheads). Have to
wait till November for his check up. I mean he's eating
just not much. He still loves to play, he still goes to the
bathroom, very much active, sometimes just wants to
lounge and bask all day not many of those days. More
active days then lounging. He loves to watch Diablo without stress marks. Same with my four fish in the 29 gallon.
He loves to watch things, he has a combination of arm waving and head bobbing. It's quite comical, it's not a
dull day here.

Well cold day and rainy too. I guess the sun is gone
till April next year. Alucard is lounging today, he's
partly active. I haven't been eating much lately, just
not hungry for a week now. I feel sick after eating meat
so since my family eats it a lot...I just decided to eat
when I feel like it which is either cereal or sandwich
but I rarely feel like it. I'll be going to the doctor
because I feel like it won't clear up on its own.

Alucard is still being taken care of he'll eat what I give
him as well as 6 crix. Took a bath as well so he gets
all he wants and then back to bed. I wake up and take
care of the fish and gerbil as well.

Gave Alucard his breakfast and calcium.
I went to the doctor and it seems it's
the stomach virus that I hadn't really noticed.
He said just a stomach virus, gave me meds
for my ear infection that I didn't notice
either. Stomach is feeling a lot better
than yesterday. So I've been eat crackers to
curb any hunger I had. I have had water
to keep my fluid intake up.

I'm doing a lot better thanks Diamc!
Alucard is now 9 weeks old, his tail
has turned completely white! Yes!
He's going to shed! I have been
dampening a warm washcloth and
moistened one of his eyes, one has
old dried skin that looks like it's
stuck shed or hasn't been ready yet.
He ate some bell pepper for breakfast
along with crix with vitamin on them.
I gave him one medium...he ate it
no problem. I brought six more guppies
for the two males who pick on my scissortail
rasboras, so finally they're happy and stopped
picking on them. 8 guppies and two rasboras, one
dinosaur eel...she hides a lot not even ready to
feed, I will feed her a lot she won't bother with
fish. I tried to put her in with Diablo and he wanted
to tear her up to shreds, took her out immediately!
I felt bad for her no one wanted her she was by herself
in a tank full of zebra dianos, so I took her home, they
said she's 7 weeks old. Too small to eat the fish anyway.

Well the storm passed and it did knock over
a dead tree. It was pretty creepy! I hate
gusty winds, it pretty much creeps me out!

I kept my room warm enough just in case
power went out but it did not which is good.

Alucard isn't eating much now that might be
because of his tail it could be itching even
though it's not flaking off in pieces yet. I did
find one of my crickets out of the container
I put it back, I guess he came out when I was
switching paper towels to keep them alive. Crix
seem to love carrots, they chomp on them everyday
I put it in there. Alucard eats two of everything
today, I think it's his tail. All fish are alive even with
the eel in there. Diablo envies her to be in the bigger
tank.

All I have to say is all the pets I have now...they are
worth every penny I ever spent.

Glad to hear the storm has ended & you didn't lose power & that you were all safe.

Have you tried giving Alucard a bath to see if that makes him more comfortable because of the shed?

Pets sure are awesome, aren't they.
