How can I make my beardie not stressed

I have a baby beardie and she can get stressed sometimes :roll: . I just wanted to know what can help a beardie not get stressed. If you need to know it usually happens when I have to put her down and do something.

How does he act, does he get dark markings on his stomach, does his overall color change, does he black beard, does he breath heavily, ect.

She gets fast breathing and lines

And when you put her down is it near your level or on the floor, or in her enclosure?

Beardies due tend to darken up a bit when stressed however the lines on the stomach don't always mean stress, as it's pretty much just normal patterning.

Beardies, younger ones especially get stressed when things are towering over them so it's best to not do that.

I was probably towering over her. Thanks for the help! (I usually put her at waist/belly level)
