Protein is the main thing that is important in the dog food. And 99% of dog food on the market is high in protein. I'm just trying to not over complicate things. Just buy dog food don't worry about it, im sure it will be fine lol.
Well, some people add stuff to it, and make Roach chow. If you want you can just feed ground up dog food, and fruits, but i usually grind up dog food, and cherrios and mix it up and use that as their chow.
Yes they have water crystals and I am heating it with a heat lamp from the side of the bin so that they dont get too much light. I just checked the temp and it is 91.6.
I've just read that you should mist it. The mist does touch the dog food, but very little. I use a squirt bottle, and maybe squirt three times from a distance. I haven't noticed any mold, at least not with very limited knowledge of mold.
I am tired of wating for the adults to breed. It's been a few weeks and still nothing. Is there anything I can do to help them? Or is there anything I might be doing wrong? I believe my set up is posted a page or two back.
Also. I have my repti-mat running for 12 hours, is that okay? I figure a product like that should not be running 24/7.
