Grey around mouth

Over the past week or two my dragons scales around his mouth are turning grey. It started with just the tip of his mouth and now is moving back his head, is this a natural occurance or a sign of some health issue?

hmmm ok thats good to hear. hes 2 yrs old, do they shed throughout their life? (i just got him a few weeks ago so im new to it all) also how long does it take to shed?

It does sound like he is getting ready to shed in that area. Adults take longer to shed than babies so it could take a wk or so although the area around the mouth usually sheds easier.
