Yes, buying dragons in either Canada or the USA is legal. It's not legal anymore in Australia to catch a bearded dragon in their home country. The wild dragons tend to make homes close to humans, especially children; even on playgounds, anywhere near humans. It's uncanny how you can fall under a dragon's spell, so having 5 means they win all the time. :mrgreen:
In Australia you have to have a license to house a reptile. No so in the USA or Canada.

Glad to hear everyone is good. How's Gem doing, has he grown any more? Sweetie grew another inch in length from 1 to 2 yrs old. It was strange, but they're then fully mature at 2. That's when Sweetie started laying eggs. :roll:

Hi Deb,
Diesel has his own bedroom so he doesn't keep me and Gem up with his nightime noises They have only met once and didn't really show any interest in each other.
Gem is doing GREAT,eating tons,shedding and pooping.

There are only 6 states in the United States where hedgehogs are illegal (Maine,Arizona,California,Georgia,Hawaii and Penn). I live in CT and it is perfectly legal to own one here Where are you from?
Diesel's quills only hurt when he raises them up in defense. When he is comfortable and relaxed his quills are soft and I can pet him He likes to cuddle under my hair behind my neck and it really tickles :lol:

It's going to take awhile to get close to caught up again around here. I sure have missed everyone. I'm hoping after court on the 4th that things will be back to normal an I can spend a few hours here again each day.

Hi all! Gem is doing great....he is 556g as of lastnight and still 20.5'' long. Right now he is glass dancing to go outside. I don't know what Im gonna do when winter sets in....he is gonna be so depressed when he can't go outside.

he does take little naps and is ready for bed by 5pm-6pm. He is still eating great,both his supers and his salad Have I told you that he will only eat salad if it has calcium on it? So now I dust his salad instead of his supers :roll: Actually he has to see me dip EACH piece in his salad in the calcium dish and he eats it from my hand :lol:

That's funny that Gem will only eat his salad if it's dusted with calcium...Blaze is the same way. :roll:
I have to let him see me sprinkling it one there or he will not touch it. He doesn't eat salad from my hand as a matter of fact he doesn't like to even let me see him eating his salad. :lol:
