Egg crate

So i picked up some egg flats from a resturaunt, a couple of them had a little "egg guts" on them, can this be harmful to the roaches, i do plan to try rinsing it off

This shouldn't be an issue. A little bit of egg won't hurt the roaches, as far as I know. You could try to wipe it off if you're concerned.
