I wish I had the answer to if you should worry at this point. I'm sorry....I read a lot on egg binding back before her first clutch and she didn't show any of the signs. Have you read any about egg binding? I will try to find some of the info. I had read and post it or the link for you just in case it has any info that you have not yet read.
Yet another sign just before Jub lays she goes to the bathroom several times (always pee-white) and very tiny amounts almost like she is just emptying everything out to get ready? I really wish I had more ideas and I hope that the sand/tank works for her. Like I said before that is what worked for us and so many had told me the lay box needed to be seperate from her tank but she would just freeze in the middle of the lay box and do nothing. I was told by many to leave her in there for several days which I just couldn't...for her it is her comfort in her tank. So I hope this will help your girl and not hurt. Also I have read a lot of people saying it can take 4-6 weeks after mating the first time. I hope someone else comes along that can answer your question about needing to worry about egg binding or better yet that she just lays. As far as the room again I was told a quiet, private place. Our girl is in our dining room connected right to the living with the t.v. plus 3 cats, a golden and 3 kids. Our house is always going going going. In fact when she lays we are right there and she is unphased.
