It's prolonged stress that causes the increase, not regular daily stress. For instance a dragon that doesn't have sufficient UVB, basking spot not hot enough, being ignored constantly, not enough food, like that. Yet mine are all well taken care of, like yours & last Sept when I took fecal samples to the vet (I do this every year) 4 out of 5 had pinworms. How they got them is a mystery, too. They get regular baths, sufficient food, good UVB, good temps, etc. But I always get them tested in September, before brumation, to make sure. Only Didi was clear last year. So it's a mystery. At least they didn't have coccocidia. That is so hard to get rid of.
I'm sure Broly is clear, but will be waiting to hear results on Saturday.
