That'd be wonderful if you had potty trained Broly. It sure would make cleanup easier.

I don't remember if I had told you this before, but the way that I got Squirt used to being held was by wrapping him up in his towel after a bath, then talking to him and making silly faces in the bathroom mirror. His black beard would face to a milky white beard in less than 10 minutes. He always felt safer when he's wrapped up, as opposed to just sitting in my hand.

Thanks Gina Im going to try that. Once hes in the bath he'll allow handling. He's gettin used to the towel.

Darn, he pooped in his tank thought I had got him to go in the bath.
He had mustards for breakfast.

my beardies jump right back on the ledge if I take them down! light as soon as I take them down and turn away there already back up there lmao, and they usualy poop when there up there too! maybe because of the angle? lmfao btw your beardie is gorgous!

Thank you! He's a citrus. After my run in with a baby that had a fungus called black fungus and stomach cancer, I really didnt want a beardie. I was into leopard geckos or crested gecko seeing as it was too cold to get either I went with a healthy chubby 4 month old male beardie. I saw the two bumps by his tail. I say sometime in March he will be 5 months old.

My baby sleeps only at night with his nose up, I think he likes the height. But refuses to use the log to sleep never seen him on the log to sleep ever not once.

Actually, it's getting a lot better, I had to replace the carpet and he doesn't gotta place to go during cleaning.
So I had him on my shoulder and he stayed the whole time. As soon as it was all replaced he ran down my arm and hopped onto his log then looked back at me like "don't do that again!" Still a bit skittish but getting better, so like Thorn he wiggles out of my hands from time to time but not as much as he used to.

He ate about 30 roaches today for breakfast with the calcium (so I did not forget) and his lunch was mustard greens with endive and one small piece of carrot (because of the calcium binding only one piece) and red pepper (pink urate tomorrow LOL). I don't have to worry about the carrot though he didn't want it but everything else was eaten. I wonder how much he gained since Saturday, guess we'll find out on Saturday.

Also the dragon bites are turning his urate pink too so I will lay off them a bit.

So I give Broly a nice bath and I see him going potty..I was like you already did that today :lol:. Well he went and yellow orangeish color and very well hydrated because it was very runny looking. Then I thought back to the food yesterday and noticed I gave him turkey and sweet potato baby food that caused the color. He's had formed poop earlier <--- not stressing just letting you know.

Also ate some apples for dinner I wanted to try something different.

Are you giving him bugs 2x a day? Try that, he's still young so he should be getting that, then whatever else. Sounds like he's not fussy like mine are. Even though I have been giving them pepper lately and most of them have been eating it. I also found mustard greens! So they're getting 2 kinds of greens now. I had to hand feed Nathaniel bugs today, he's not eating his bugs fast enough, but after today I"m back to putting them in his dish.

That was too funny, Broly spending time on your shoulder while patiently waiting for his carpet to be cleaned, then running down your arm, jumping on his log & giving you the death glare. I'm still laughing at his antics! He sounds like a little pistol, great personality and I'm glad he's getting more used to being handled.

Ariel is doing well, I spent all yesterday morning before work with her, it was fun. Had her out on the ramp, she's really not too bothered by the big 3 looking down on her. She's alot of fun! But I have to spend time with my others, too. Tomorrow it's Leo's turn to be snuggled, even though he doesn't seem to want to be out of his tank at all. They're all so different!

2x a day huh? I actually haven't been doing that..but he did grow at least half an inch. I thought 30 was good enough. I should have known 30 isn't good enough. I was only thinking "sweet, he ate a lot". He does good with any food I throw in, but will do breakfast and lunch with bugs. The baby food was to replace the greens cuz they went bad so I already had done the bugs (I thought once was good as long as he ate some). Tomorrow I will start 2x a day how could I be so dumb? Thanks Deb, I will start that and going to order some pheonix worms as well as more supers.

He definitely a pistol hates tank cleaning day already he thinks it's the worst thing in the world. But after many times of pooping on it, it's gotta be replaced and cleaned. So cleaned carpet and crocodile skull and log all cleaned. I baked the log for 30 minutes at 200 degrees. The house wasn't on fire and neither was the log. He kinda just closed his eyes the whole time I cleaned hoping it was over real soon.

It's not dumb, it's just what I've been told is good for young ones. I think you'll find that he'll double his intake and grow faster and gain weight better, too. The rest is great, I wish mine would eat so many veggies and greens!

He didn't want many apples..two bites and done. I just want him used to greens and fruits, veggies too. I don't do fruits all the time. One more time buying from a pet shop oughta do for the babies to grow and then keep breeding. Almost medium sized.

I really wish I had all this info with Vash 10 years ago!
I was told feed bugs 1x a day. But he did love dandelion greens.

Aw don't be envious of Broly eating greens I didn't think he would eat them honestly. It's a surprise that he does. He still gets bugs don't get me wrong it's not that I don't... Just not twice a day.

The feed bugs once a day is for when they're a year old. And sometimes I'm feeding Ariel twice a day, depending on how hungry she is. And she's a year told but more the size of a 7 or 8 mo old or younger. So it hasn't done him any harm but bet he'll do justice to bugs twice a day!
