Breathing?

So my beardie is shedding right now and he has shed in his nose are they able to breath through their mounth.

I guess I've never really thought about that but I'm sure they can as their nostril sheds seem to pretty much completely block their nostrils sometimes

Oh and today when I was helping him get some off he wanted to go places but I said no and he looked at me and promptly pooped on me
