My bearded dragon has a red dot above his eye. Does anyone know why this occurred or how I should help to heal it? (See photo)

Hello,

How long has this spot been present by the eye area?
Did he have any trouble shedding that you know of? It could be a skin tag or mole/skin growth. Has it gotten
any larger at all since you noticed it?
Is it hard or soft to the touch? If it appears to be bothering him, you can try putting some raw, unpasteurized
honey on it. Just be sure there aren't any loose insects in the tank.

Let us know how he is doing.

Thanks for responding!
We noticed it about 2 days ago.
He is about to shed his head area any day now it looks like we gave him a bath last night and after he dried off his head is more (smokey).
It has got a bit larger but not too much.
It does not appear to be bothering him at all.
We cleaned the tank last night thinking that might be the case and there were no insects.
The growth is still there and he is currently running around like a mad man.
I just hope it goes away soon.

Hello,

Just checking, you did try to gently rub on the area during a bath to be sure that it wasn't food? This sometimes
happens.
You can try using a warm moistened chamomile tea bag on the area at night to see if that helps reduce swelling.
Or possibly some silver gel, too. I'm glad it doesn't seem to be bothering him.

The spot appears to be lessening and he’s in good spirits.
Thank you so much for responding!

Hello,

That is really great news! I am glad the area seems to be decreasing in size, hopefully
it will just eventually go away altogether. At least he seems to be unaffected by it all thus
far!

I have questions about bubbles on our bearded dragons eye.

So he’s gotten bubbles on his eye. We wiped them off and it’s only been twice in the last few weeks. Should we be concerned? No coughing or congestion. He’s very hungry and sleeps well. He’s 8-9 month range. His humidity is 30-40 day time and as high as 50-55 at night to early morning.
Should we be concerned?

Currently trying not to stress over my anemic dragon....she is being treated, but I don't agree with her treatment plan and have been seeking out a second opinion from another vet. If anyone else has dealt with anemia, please let me know how it was resolved. I am losing sleep over this
Another post lol. My beardie does not like enclosures. Her tank is the kids room and she has created a nesting/bed spot in the corner. She will cuddle with my son but she know when the lights are out and the kids go to sleep, she literally goes to her bed like she is our 3rd baby. I love her. And to think, I never wanted a beardie lol
