It's best to have a good reptile vet check that out, at the least an exotic's vet . Probably need antibiotics and some type of wound care. Do you think you can get him seen quickly ? Until then you can put raw honey on it and some gauze.

Thanks found one but closed until tomorrow will try the honey until I can get him in

Hello,

Let us know how the tail is looking. As AHBD stated, the raw unpasteurized honey should help
prevent infection for now.
