We went to home depot and got the supplies to make some fake rocks.. I got regular "water proof" gorilla glue as sealant. However, I noticed most people are saying to use gorilla wood glue. Is there a difference, or reason to use wood glue and not regular glue?

Hello, so we are in the process of making a DIY viv. While I was not there, my mom's boyfriend painted the fixture brown. Is this going to dramatically effect the UV output? The dragon will be able to get within about 6-8 inches of the bulb. I would feel horrible telling him he has to paint it...
