Hot glue? Tile problems..

So, my mom's boyfriend is building me a viv. We had everything for the tile planned out, and were going to grout it in. However, he had some problems with the grout (and I was not there) so because he didn't know better, he cut the tiles so it was an extremely tight fit, and glued (liquid nails) them down. However, of course, the pee and poop will still get in the cracks and now the tiles cannot be lifted to be cleaned. Now that they're too tight to grout, he wants to try a very small amount of hot glue in-between/ over the cracks.
It's high temperature, non toxic hot glue. It says to store the un-melted sticks below 130 F, and that the gun heats up to over 300 F to melt them.
What do you suggest we do? The hot glue? Or something else?

hot glue might work, I don't think it will be bad for the beardie. you might want to try some clear silicone caulk, it might be easier to work with. if you use a silicone caulk, just make sure it NOT mold resistant. I have heard that the mold resistant chemical in the mold resistant bathroom caulking can be dangerous.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
