while barefoot, you step on a thorn. When you remove it, it's actually a shedded beardie scale!

Crickets sing from all corners WITHIN the house!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Your refrigerator is full of worms and this is a very good thing, not a sign for a serious cleaning job!

I know there are many more ways that show others we are doing things a little bit differently! So, how do you know you're living with beardies?

Yep, that's me! My room is an absolute disaster area (we have a joke that the Loch Ness Monster lives under my bed), but Loki's viv is as clean as the day I put him in there.

i was buying babyfood one day(i was 18 at the time) this was for a diff reptile

but anyway i was in line and this lady behind me started lecturing me about how "kids" are having babies too young and how am i going to go to school and get a good job etc

i was like thisis for my gecko(treat for my crestie) she was like oh

and i know what you mean about the beardie spikes i had my hand on one of the shelves and all of a sudden i got poked really hard ow i looked and noticed a shedded beardie spike sticking off my hand lol



ok you know you live with a beardie when you take him out in public and people avoid you b/c you have an "iguana/gecko" on your sholder(i think it is soo funny b/c they are soo popular but alot of people still dont know what they are lol)

i took him to the store i work the other day and i had to top at the bank so i put him on my sholder and went inside this lady had 2 little kids and as they were leaving the one said(mommy that girl has a lizard(i think she was kindof scared) th mom was like "thats just a toy" and then rushed her outside lol

the bank people didnt even care though and no where on the door does it say no pets lol

hahah that people at my bank ask me where Ish (my dragon) is whenever I walk into the bank without him.

...you know you're living with a beardie now ALWAYS must have a wee little bottle of anti-bacterial stuff just so the kids can pet the funny looking lizard.

I do that all the time! I was eating a peach the other day and I pulled off a bit and took off the skin. My hubby thought it was for the kids and almost turned green when I gave it to Butercup!

LOL I am the same way! I even go to the extent that if my roomate is eating an apple or something and it's the last one..I ask her if I could cut a chunk off so I can give it to Dudlee in the morning..lol. She rolls her eyes because she knows Im crazy!
