You know you're living with beardies when...

Just thought we could start identifying things around the house that indicate a house full of beardies, i.e. You know you're living with beardies when...
while barefoot, you step on a thorn. When you remove it, it's actually a shedded beardie scale!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Crickets sing from all corners WITHIN the house!

You know you're living with beardies when...
Your refrigerator is full of worms and this is a very good thing, not a sign for a serious cleaning job!

I know there are many more ways that show others we are doing things a little bit differently! So, how do you know you're living with beardies?

Never fails, when I go to the grocery store, if I have veggies this happens.
If I have something that is not that common of a veggie, the person in line behind me or the cashier or someone will say what is that. I say bok choy or whatever it is. They then say, what does it taste like? I say I dont know, and they look at me puzzled. They ask me how you fix it, I say I dont know that either. Of course then they look even more confused. I tell them that it is for my bearded dragons. That does not help their confusion any! :wink:

When you pull out pictures of your "kid" to show others. :lol: Or your outside with the leash and talking to the beardie and your next door neighbor gives you an odd look because he can't see what's on the end of the leash. :laughhard:

-You've just bought a new house and are already considering changing the living room window into a bay window so the beardies can sit up and look outside

-You're arranging your living room setup to best suit the beardies' needs

-You buy a new house and your friends and family ask which room is going to be the "beardie room." You laugh and say "Neither...they'll be in the living room with everyone else." :wink:

-The cashier at the supermarket gives advice on how to cook your collard greens and you feel too sorry to tell her that you don't actually eat them yourself

-There are more pictures of the beardies on the camera than there are of your human family

The electric company comes by to make sure you are not growing anything illegal because there has been such a spike in the usage and they cant believe its all for dragons until they see it with there own eyes.....

When you plan vacation around where your breadie can go with you.

I always try to grab a beardie to take to the door with me if the bell rings and I am not expecting anyone. :wink: :lol:

How about having baby food in your cupboards without having a baby at home!

When you get excited if you find that special rock or driftwood for the viv, and your figuring out the best piece that would give your beardie the most activity!

The looks you get from people when you tell them how much pleasure you get when your cuddle with your beardie, or that they really do have personalities and are all DIFFERENT!

Only those of us who have our little babies can relate, right?
