Year old beardie sleeping habits

Hey all!
So my beardie loves to hang out in my living room and crawl around. He loves to find places to sleep and cuddle up to in my living room, but he doesn't seem to do that in his terrarium. Is that normal?

Hello,

Your bearded dragon is about a year old?
They do love to run around the room & find dark places to hide & take a nap. That is very
normal, yes. To try & combat that, you could put up an alternate basking area for him
while he is out roaming around in case he wants to warm up while he's out of the tank.
