Update on my lighting

So thanks for the advise I got from everyone ! I now have the Reptisun 10.0 and the 100 watt basking bulb she perked up a ton since I intalled

well done. i have concerns on how close he is to that UVB however. cant tell from the photo but how far from it is he sitting? (horizontal distance seems pretty close). If the bulb is too close he could be getting far more UVB than would be healthy, too much isnt always better, but the main concern is with it's position being to his side versus overhead. you will want to keep an eye out for his left eye as a bright light shining on his eyeball while he's basking could cause damage and stress to him. i think getting lights set up is one of the only pains about having a beardie. Glad to hear he's perking up and being more alert! looking good!

Thanks for that ! I can cut the wood down a bit, I'm in the process of building a background from Styrofoam that will only be about 12 " tall so in all probability The branch will be cut shorter anyway. It was only that tall because of the crappy basking bulb and incorrect UVB bulbs so its still a work in progress. All advice is greatly appreciated

Its a slow process for me. I tried a 12x12" basking area and a background that looks like real bricks , it turned out nice but wasn't enough room for her to move around so I started a new one and haven't had a lot of time to put into it sadly
