It's almost a cute ugly, much like those Chinese Crested dogs who always win the ugliest dog contests.

A friend of mine has these...they are very cool looking.....like little mini alligators. His were pretty agressive though...not sure if this their typical nature or not. Apparently their bite is pretty painful.
