Hi, uhm. So I haven't posted in here in a long time. Things have been crazy in my life the passed couple years..but I have to ask about this because it is a bit concerning.
So, yesterday I notice a little bit of blood on my Scooter's newspaper after she pooped. It wasn't very much so I figured I would check today cause she's been pooping almost every day for about a week or two suddenly and it's been pretty runny, but like mostly greens so I figured that was normal. Today she had a solid poop with good urate, but again with the blood spots....she had been staying with my mom for a while while our heat got repaired and she was feeding her pretty big dubias everyday with her salad. I told her 3 or 4 every other day but I was basing this off the roaches I normally find which are barely more than a dime in size. Turns out she somehow found quarter sized ones and was giver her those. Which was fine and she ate them fine but this was also a time when she was only pooping like once a week, and I didn't know any of this about the size difference in the roaches until I got her back and saw them. Now, the reason I bring all this up is because she pooped when she got home and it was the most MASSIVE turd if ever seen a beardie produce. It looked like a cat or small dog poop and was definitely solid, looked tough to pass...since then she had the runny poops that looked less digested, I've been trying to feed her earlier in the day to let her have as much basking time after as possible, but she's also been glass surfing a lot, and not with a full black beard but like darkened sides along her spikes. I thought it was just zoomies cause spring time and I would take her outside in the sun for a while and she would calm down. No signs of blood after the huge poop and none while her poops were runny, but as soon as thwy started to become solid again (yesterday) I saw the blood. Is it just that she tore something when she had that big poop? And it didn't show until her poop was solid again? Or should I be worried? Should I give her a bath and see if there's more blood? Shes otherwise alert and active, so far. Thank you in advance for any info.
