that is really good, clears up a lot of questions and also gives pretty clear guidance.

One thing I did wonder is about the Basking light, I use a red one, but now thinking it should be white light just like the UV light.

Yes you should be using a bright white light instead of a red one during the day. On very cold nights you can use a red light but it is better to use a CHE which gives off heat but no light at all
