Tail rot

Is this tail rot able to heal, or does it need to be amputated?

Hello,

How long has the tip looked like that/
This is a very minor injury or issue but with any tail problems, it's a good idea to keep an eye on it.
For now, get some raw unpasteurized honey to treat the end of the tail for awhile to see if you get
any improvement. Watch to be sure it doesn't travel upwards on the tail. It should dry up & fall off
without any problem.
Did it get pinched in between something?

Hello Tracie, thank you for replying. I tried asking on many sites with no one replying. I don't know what happened to Sunrise or when it happened. I noticed it on her tail when i was giving her a bath two days ago. I started treating her tail with Betadine and Neosporin. I mix 4 parts Betadine and 1 part water, and then let her tail soak for 5 minutes, 3 times a day. Then i apply a little bit of Neosporin the kind without pain relief after drying her tail off.

Hello Brandon,

I just posted on your thread, regarding mouth rot or injury.
How is Sunshine doing?
Has her tail stayed the same, or changed any thus far? Continue with the diluted betadine
& neosporin on the tail, that will be fine. She may have had an issue with the end of her tail
while shedding, it's hard to know for sure.

The tip of her tail finally came off today. I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow for a exam to see what's up with her mouth and for possible parasites.
