Tail rot!!

The tip of my baby bearded dragons tail looked like when I just picked him up

And now the tip just fell off. What do I do!? Please help. He’s eating normal and basking. Got him from petsmart

Hi there, it looks like a common tail nip from being housed with his clutchmates, they often fall off at the tip with no further problems. I raised a lot so I've seen a lot [ well, at least a few through the years ]

It should be fine, just watch that nothing looks infected and spreads up the tail.

Should I put some Antibacterial ointment on it. I read some people recommend putting some on the tip so it doesn’t get infected.
