Tail rot?

My beardies tail seems to be a little grey/black on half of his tail and I’m afraid it’s tail rot

If you are able to post a picture that would help! I know my little beardies tail changes color, it looks dull and pale, when it is about to shed!

no, not tail rot. could be getting ready to shed or just natural color pigmentation changes. my beardies tail goes partly black in areas that are about to shed

you will see hard scales, missing scales in a single patch, abcess in the tail, pain response when you touch it
